India in My Heart – Independence Day Celebration
The spirit of patriotism filled the air as our kindergarten celebrated Independence
Day with great enthusiasm and pride. The day began with vibrant activities in each
class – Nursery children showcased their creativity in a Fancy Dress Competition,
LKG students prepared Tri-colour Biscuit Canopies (non-fire cooking), while
UKG children enjoyed the Tri-colour Cup Stack Game and made delicious Tri-
colour Sandwiches.
The celebrations continued with engaging competitions, including Rhyme
Recitation by LKG and a Handprint Flag Activity, which brought joy and
excitement to our young learners.
The entire school then gathered for the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, a proud moment
led by our Chairman, Mr. Surrinder Kumar Ralli, and Principal, Mrs. Neha Ralli.
The sight of the fluttering tricolour filled every heart with pride as the National
Anthem echoed in unison.
In the auditorium, UKG-C students confidently spoke a few lines about
Independence Day, followed by an energetic dance performance and song by UKG
students. Teachers, along with a few children, presented a beautiful musical dance
drama titled “My India, My Responsibility”, portraying India’s journey from the
freedom struggle to modern achievements, and inspiring children to become the
nation’s bright future. The celebration concluded with the Know Your National
Symbols activity, where teachers used colourful flashcards to explain our national
symbols, making learning fun, interactive, and memorable.
It was truly a day of patriotism, joy, and learning – a perfect tribute to our beloved
nation.
